Coordinate the collection of external evaluations with the University review

The NYSED will not accept a proposal until it is complete.  In the case of post-baccalaureate programs, it considers one or more external reviews an essential part of the proposal.  Schools should, therefore, provide the names of several possible external reviewers as part of their proposals.

The Vice Provost will submit the list to the NYSED for its approval.  Once the NYSED has vetted the list, the Vice Provost will inform the School of whom it may use as a reviewer.  At that point, it should obtain the external reviews rather than waiting until they have received all of the necessary approvals within the University.  This will expedite the submission of the proposal to the NYSED.
